A battle

Being resilient is one of the main factors in life and we Filipinos are known to be one. We tend to smile and look for the silver lining in everything even if we are in the middle of a disaster whether its natural or man-made or even a pandemic can’t stop us from being resilient and going back to shape.

Today, the world is in the middle of a pandemic called Corona Virus Disease or also known as COVID19 and experiencing global shutdown. It is a virus outbreak that caused a big problem not only in the Philippines but around the world. It is a battle of human to an invisible enemy called virus and once it enters to a weak human body, surely it is deadly. Months of isolation and lockdown made us realized that we must fight and face this pandemic and go back to what we used to do in order to continue our life and we can’t let this pandemic stops us in achieving our goal. This pandemic made us realized that we must cherish every moment we have with our love ones, take care not only ourselves but also our world we’re living so that it will bounce back to us, to be resilient towards the challenges life is giving and most important is to have the strongest faith in God to overcome everything that are happening in the world.

There are some circumstances in life that we may stumble and fall but going back to square one doesn’t mean we’re losers nor failures, in fact these challenges will make us a better person and stand even more stronger than we are yesterday.

  1. I couldn't agree more that starting over is not a sign of failure. Challenges given to us are converted to opportunities to improve because it is Filipino nature to do so. Giving up is not included in our vocabulary as Filipinos. We focus in achieving our goal and we don't stop until we finally truly achieve them. Trust the process, we'll be out of this mess soon!
